I'm Duygu Lougee, a Turkish-American illustrator who loves creating warm, whimsical worlds filled with quirky characters and gentle humor. I grew up in Istanbul, surrounded by the sounds of street vendors, glowing ferry lights, and curious street cats. Those early memories still shape the way I see and draw the world.
Now based in Georgia, I'm finishing my MFA in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design. My focus is on children's books, where I bring characters to life with drawings that feel playful, honest, and full of personality. I also create surface designs, including greeting cards, stickers, and fun prints that spark a smile.
When I am not drawing, I am usually people-watching at a cozy café, carving lino blocks, or expanding my book collection.
